Traditional indoor/outdoor living overlooking the Pacific with a tidied-up east coast Cape Cod aesthetic. Located near Hope Ranch, this 4750 sq. ft. home was a collaborative project designed by Jeff Berkus, Architect, Bill Wolf with Pacific Architects and Dave Young of Young Construction, the owner of the home.
Dave and his family often have gatherings and they wanted a space that would comfortably allow them to entertain family and friends. The open concept interior unifies the common areas, making the home welcoming and convivial.
Finish carpentry and architectural millwork were performed by Young Construction’s in- house craftsman. The combination of bold wood details, with soft wood flooring make this home vibrant, warm and full of life.
The space is airy and bright and seamlessly blends indoors with the outdoors.
Dave, along with the team at Young Construction, designed the interior, including the selection of ceiling material, floors and tile.
The setting provides sparkling views of the blue Pacific and the Channel Islands. The color palette was chosen to complement the spectacular ocean views and the tranquil hills and valleys of the nearby Hope Ranch area.
Bob Young and his brother David, along with the team at Young Construction, have been committed to building quality custom homes in Santa Barbara for nearly four decades. Their personal involvement in each project along with their detail oriented approach and cost effective construction solutions continue to produce award-winning homes and quality commercial projects for their clients.
