The Black Sheep Restaurant in Santa Barbara

The Black Sheep, a recently opened casual eating spot, was created on the premise of bringing a slightly different mix to their menu. Owner Ruben Perez draws from his past experience working at his family’s restaurant, Seagrass, located next door on Ortega Street in downtown Santa Barbara.

Menu highlights include…

Deconstructed Chicken

Salad of roasted beets, pear, blue cheese, frisée, pistachio

Sautéed Sea Bass w/Spanish chorizo, fingerling potatoes, onions and tomatoes

Wild Boar Spare Ribs

Ramen Noodles w/slow braised pork belly, roasted shiitake mushrooms, cilantro

Popular Sides and Desserts include Wasabi Mashed Potatoes, Spicy Sautéed Snap Peas, Rice Pudding with Seasonal Berries, Chocolate Caramel Hazelnut Tort

Stop in for Happy Hour (from 4-6pm Tuesday-Sunday) and peruse the selection of imported beers and fine wine and lighter fare…ideal for sharing.
