Day Tripping to Ojai, CA

Summer in Ojai is legendary, with orchards and farms filled with fresh crops, and the sunny days and warm nights are ideal for hikes and picnics.  The 40 minute trip from Santa Barbara is a scenic drive with breathtaking vistas. Quality boutiques, food destinations, spa services and activities will provide you with plenty to do for a relaxing day or long weekend.

Ojai appeals to those in search of a slower pace and a bit “off the beaten path” experience. Celebrities have always considered it a quiet weekend retreat, or the ideal location for a second home (so close to L.A., but worlds away from frenzied city life).  Most people gravitate there for the peaceful lifestyle and rural surroundings, embraced by visitors and residents alike.

At the base of several vast mountain ranges, Ojai’s natural beauty is breathtaking. There are trails to hike and bike, stunning sunsets, drives through fragrant citrus groves, seasonal roadside fruit stands, plus olive and lavender farms to explore.
