Palihouse Santa Monica

Palihouse Santa Monica is a boutique beach lodge offering 37 generously appointed classic rooms as well as stunning studios, one and two-bedroom guest suites featuring fully equipped kitchens. In continuous operation since 1927, Palihouse Santa Monica is an outstanding example of Moorish-influenced Mediterranean Revival Architecture.

The hotel dates back to a time when Santa Monica was the last Los Angeles rail stop and travelers from all over the world came for seaside vacations all year round. The building has been meticulously maintained and remains renowned for its elegant exterior ornamentation, lush courtyards and gracious lobby.

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, Palihouse Santa Monica is only a few minutes walk from some of Santa Monica’s most famous attractions including the Third Street Promenade,
Farmer’s Market and the Santa Monica Pier.

Established with the conviction that neighborhoods, unique experiences and inspiring places are integral to a life well-traveled, the Palihouse brand has been designed so savvy guests can explore the places they visit with style, sophistication and individuality.

The luxurious Grand Studio Residences feature fully equipped kitchen, separate Vanity room, large closets, desks, custom King or Queen beds, Egyptian cotton linens, private bathtub and shower combinations, Palihouse bath amenities. 40 inch HD TV’s, complimentary secure wireless and hard wired high speed internet, mini-bars featuring Dean & Deluca, luxurious robes, operable windows and more.

Penthouse One features 2 bedrooms, the master suite contains one King Bed, and the guest suite contains two twin beds. The suite boasts a large living area, luxurious marble bathroom, an 8-seat farm table and two outdoor spaces, one balcony and a sunny interior courtyard.

The building has been meticulously maintained and remains renowned for its elegant exterior ornamentation, lush courtyards and gracious lobby. In 2001, the property was designated a Santa Monica Historic Landmark and in this spirit, they’ve designed this unique urban lodge to create the ideal pied-a-terre you’ve always imagined.

Not quite a boutique hotel or a luxury residence, Palihouse offers the best of both worlds.
