Mediterranee Antiques in Carpinteria

With over 9000 sq feet, Mediterranee Antiques specializes in Latin American and European art and antiques. The evolving inventory includes a selection of fine 18th, 19th and 20th century French, Spanish and Italian trunks, cabinets, credenzas, and other interior furnishings and fine art.

The warehouse is spacious, offering an open floor plan and additional room for large scale antiques, figurative sculptures and French fireplace mantels. Owner Carolina Pierpont has a loyal following of local clientele and interior designers who rely on her years of experience and her keen eye for exceptional antiques and fine art.

Distinctive fine art, with an emphasis on Latin America art from the 19th century to the works of contemporary artists, includes the work of Mexican artist Angel Bracho, Roberto Montenegro and many of Santa Barbara’s better known local artists. Interior accessories include hand carved and gilded mirrors, frames from Peru, Santos from Brazil, religious artifacts, vintage pieces and other one of a kind collectibles that fit into Santa Barbara’s Spanish influenced style.
