Lotusland Tours in Santa Barbara

Visit Lotusland, a unique 37-acre estate and botanic garden created by Madame Ganna Walska and situated in the foothills of Montecito, near Santa Barbara. Tours of Lotusland are offered at 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM, Wednesday through Saturday between mid-February and mid-November.

Before her death, Madame Walska established the nonprofit Ganna Walska Lotusland Foundation, which now preserves this unrivaled botanical treasure.

The Lotusland Foundation preserves and enhances the spectacular collections of exotic plants and the historic Montecito estate of Madame Ganna Walska and provides public access to their remarkable beauty and diversity through interpretation of the collections and fosters increased knowledge and appreciation of the importance of plants and the need for their conservation.

Tours of Lotusland are offered at 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM, Wednesday through Saturday between mid-February and mid-November. Knowledgeable volunteer docents interpret the garden and its history on two-hour walking tours.

Because Lotusland is a public garden operating in a private, residential neighborhood, advance reservations are required.
