With farm fresh cuisine and sophisticated yet comfortable design, Bell Street Farm offers a distinct environment to enjoy a meal, snack or a wine tasting for residents and visitors alike.
The space served as a bank in the early 1900′s, morphed into a market/restaurant and then to a biker bar and now, 95 years later, a popular foodie destination.
Favorites on the menu include Smashed Potato & Pancetta Salad, Bell Street Tuna Niçoise, Tamarind Chicken Salad.
Sightings on the daily specials menu…Duck Confit, Pork Belly Sandwiches and Meatloaf with Harissa.
Under the creative direction of Owner Jamie Gluck, Bell Street Farm was designed to fit into the quaint charm of Los Alamos yet introduce a sophistication in food and goods which many wine region residents and visitors generally seek.
Gluck scoured the area to create a distinct menu and curate retail items that reflect the culture and cuisine found along the California coast.
“After spending many years in the area, I saw a need for a restaurant that utilized the flavors and fresh ingredients found in the region,” said Jamie Gluck, Owner of Bell Street Farm.
“When the space on Bell Street became available, I was excited to expand the enjoyment of ‘farm-to-table’ to a new level and create a comfortable yet sophisticated establishment for residents and visitors to enjoy a delicious meal to eat in or take out.”
“I want to be a destination for people’s first stop in wine country,” says Jamie, who intends to provide a foodie focus for visitors as they get ready for a day of touring and tasting.
Guests at Bell Street Farm can order salads with ingredients grown by local farmers, sandwiches served on fresh-baked breads, buy olive oils from Santa Barbara County growers. The wines are exclusively from California’s Central Coast and are available for purchase or tasting by the glass.
