Bacara Resort & Spa

Discover Spanish Colonial warmth and stunning natural beauty at Bacara Resort & Spa, a luxury hotel in Santa Barbara. Nestled on the bluff and beaches of the Central California Coast between the Pacific Ocean and Santa Ynez Mountains, Bacara offers comfortable luxury and incomparable natural beauty.

Just a five-minute drive from the Santa Barbara Airport, the resort features 305 lavish guestrooms and 49 specialty suites, each with either a private balcony or patio with ocean, garden or mountain views.

The Santa Barbara hotel features direct access to beautiful beaches, world-class golf and wine country.

What luxury getaway would be complete without a little pampering? The spa at Bacara offers a range of rejuvenating treatments and spa services offered by world-class massage therapists and aestheticians.

All accommodations reflect the serenity of Bacara’s classic coastal setting, using the colors of sea, sand and sky, along with natural materials, elegant Spanish tile, overstuffed furnishings, and Frette linens and robes.

The bathrooms feature deep soaking tubs, marble showers and Fresh bath products.

About half the guestrooms have gas fireplaces; all of the suites and luxury retreats have gas or wood-burning fireplaces.

The two zero-edge, heated saline swimming pools feature expansive ocean views, along with their own heated saline hydrotherapy whirlpool spas. Twenty-five private pool cabanas include wireless Internet access, phone outlets, food and beverages with dedicated waiter service, along with bottled water and a fresh fruit amenity, the perfect place for relaxation or entertaining.

In addition, the Pool Bar features a menu including burgers, sandwiches, salads, and kids’ meals, as well as full bar service; open from 11:00am until sunset.

The resort features an assortment of culinary options − from casual to healthy organic to fine dining at its three distinct dining venues. An expansive wine cellar housing more than 12,000 bottles showcases wines from around the world and the region.

Bacara’s beachfront setting lends itself to outdoor adventures, including onsite kayaking, stand-up paddle lessons, mountain biking and surfing.

Additionally, travelers can connect with the region’s stunning natural beauty at the resort’s complimentary stargazing classes with the Santa Barbara Astronomical Unit or guided beach hikes with the Gaviota Coastal Conservancy.
